ADC Module

This ADC module is specifically designed for development boards. It adopts the ADS7924 which is a 12-bit, 4-channel and micro-power analog-to-digital converter. Equipped with the intelligent system power control function, it is suitable for development applications with strict requirements on power consumption, such as those powered by batteries and energy harvesting systems, and provides accurate digital conversion of analog signals for them.

Function

Multi-channel data acquisition
It has four input channels. Through a 4-channel input multiplexer connected by external pins and linked to a common signal conditioning circuit, it can perform sequential acquisition and conversion on multiple analog signal sources, meeting the requirement of simultaneously monitoring multiple analog quantities.

Intelligent monitoring and alarming
It features intelligent monitoring functions, including the automatic sequencing of the 4-channel multiplexer, the ability to set alarm thresholds individually for each channel, and a programmable scanning rate. When the input signal exceeds the set threshold, an interrupt signal can be generated to notify the microcontroller, enabling it to respond to abnormal situations in a timely manner. There is no need for the microcontroller to conduct frequent polling, thus saving the resources and power consumption of the microcontroller.

Fast signal conversion
The low-power ADC, with the analog power supply as a reference, can complete the acquisition and conversion of signals within just 10μs. It is capable of converting analog signals into digital signals quickly and accurately, meeting the requirements of high-speed data acquisition and real-time monitoring.
